1. Sandblasting
Sandblasting is the first key process we use. It mainly uses high-pressure air to spray fine abrasive particles (such as diamond, glass beads, etc.) at high speed onto the surface of the clutch assembly to remove surface dirt, oxide layer and tiny defects, while forming a certain degree of roughness, laying a good foundation for subsequent surface treatment. This step not only improves the adhesion of the material, but also creates favorable conditions for subsequent anti-corrosion and wear-resistant treatment. We strictly control the parameters of sandblasting, such as abrasive type, spray pressure, angle and time, to ensure the consistency and optimization of the treatment effect.
2. Electroplating technology
Electroplating is another core technology for us to improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the clutch assembly. We use the nickel-chromium (Ni-Cr) composite electroplating process, which can form a uniform, dense and high-hardness coating on the surface of key clutch components. The nickel layer, as the bottom layer, provides good corrosion resistance and adhesion; while the chromium layer, as the surface layer, effectively resists the friction and wear that may be encountered during use with its extremely high hardness and wear resistance. During the electroplating process, we strictly control the composition, temperature, current density and electroplating time of the electroplating solution to ensure uniform coating thickness and stable quality, thereby maximizing the service life of the clutch.
3. Advanced surface coating technology
In addition to traditional sandblasting and electroplating technologies, we have also introduced more advanced surface coating technologies such as plasma spraying and physical vapor deposition (PVD). Plasma spraying uses a high-temperature and high-speed plasma arc to melt and spray powder materials onto the surface of the substrate to form a solid coating that is not only corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant, but also maintains stable performance under extreme temperature conditions. PVD technology uses physical methods to deposit metal or alloy vapor directly onto the surface of the part under a vacuum environment to form an extremely thin but extremely dense coating. This technology is particularly suitable for parts that require high precision and high surface finish, such as key friction surfaces in clutches.
When implementing the above surface treatment technology, we pay attention to every detail, from the selection of raw materials to every step of the process, we follow strict standards and processes. For example, before electroplating, all parts must undergo strict cleaning and activation treatment to remove impurities such as grease and moisture to ensure a good combination of the electroplated layer and the substrate. In the application of coating technology, we use advanced equipment to monitor the coating thickness, uniformity and porosity to ensure the coating quality is optimal.
